Friendship clubs come under a guise of differant names. They are basically, social clubs for the more elderly, where you can meet with friends to chat, reminisce, take part in keep fit activities, learn, go on trips or share a meal together.

Most communities have at least one friendship club based within it.
Location
Friendship Clubs are normally held or are based in local Halls or community centres, these can be found throughout the country, many arrange transport to and from your home to the centre.
Age
Individual friendship Clubs may have a differing minnimum age, ranging from, recently retired or perhaps over 50s upwards. There is not an upper age limit.
Description
Many of the activities that take place within a friendship club, can be undertaken alone in the privacy of your own home, but are far more rewarding and pleasurable experience when undertaken within a group of friends.
