Natural Yamakasi uses buildings, walls and street furniture (pillar boxes, lamp-standards etc) as equipment and aid to fast passage. Inspiration and popularity of Yamakasi type pastimes has developed from television and video adventures using these techniques.
Dedication
The Yamakasi are a group of practitioners of the sport of l'art du de'placement(French: the art of movement). Often mistaken for Japanese, the word yamakasi is taken from the Lingala language, spoken in the two Kongos Ya mak'asi; meaning strong spirit, strong body, strong person. Although in French usage its meaning is closer to high energy.
