Dedication
Window boxes and baskets like most forms of gardening do need a degree of dedication, boxes and baskets more so than traditional gardening as they totally rely on the gardener for water and feed, this however can be minimised by the use of water retaining materials mixed in the soil and modern watering techniques. The amount of dedication also depends on whether you are using single crop boxes (all in, all out). or you are trying to achieve constant colour or cropping.
