An Irish game played with teams of 15 players, the object of the game is to pass the ball past the opposing team and score a goal, this game is similar to a cross between Rugby and F.A. Football.

This is a popular game played in Ireland with firm rules and structure from the GAA since 1887 and in 2006 still remains a popular game.

Generally played in Ireland though teams are now in appearing in the UK especially in London.

Description
Gaelic Football is played with a ball similar to that of a football though these balls are heavier. The ball is kicked, carried or passed to team players up to the opposing teams H shaped goal, which has a net on the bottom, goals are H shaped due to the GAA deciding to utilise goals for hurling as well as football. Pitches are 130-140 meters long and 80-90 meters wide, as the Gaa utilise the pitch for hurling line are found across the pitch too, for the under 13 smaller pitches are used.
