Adagio is an acrobatic art involving stationary balances. It is performed by a pair of performers. One of the pair acting as a flier the another as a base. The base remains in contact with the floor and the flier is balanced in the air.
Dedication
Adagio is incorporated into performances, in circus and various dance disciplines such as acro dance and ballet and also the sport of pair skating.
