Chlopek is a simple Polish children's playground game which can be played alone or as a group. A series of single and double row of squares are marked on to the ground, and numbered, donating the sequance in which they must be hopped.

The shape of the playing area resembles the figure of a boy, hence the translation of the name chlopek - literally translated means farmer boy.
Age
Chlopek is mainly played by girls up to 7-8 years old.
Description
the player jumps on one leg through the squares "1", "2", "3", then may rest by landing both legs on the double squares numbered "4" and "5", then hops on "6" and lands on "7" + "8" with both legs, doing a flip turn of 180 degrees and repeating the process back to the start.
Dedication
There are some variations of this game, in which the participant can jump in more difficult verions. eg. Only using the left leg or with the legs crossed.
