Despite forecasts the weather held fine and the crowds turned out. too what was a hectically busy, good fun and very worthwhile to attend day.
This special needs event was aimed at young people with learning difficulties and physical disabilities, and was held within the beautiful setting of Staunton Country Park in Havant. The aim of the day was to provide young people with information about the different services and opportunities available to them, and to give them the chance to ask questions about work, training, education, volunteering opportunities and supported employment, as well as other issues effecting their lives. the aim of the event was, for it to be an enjoyable as well as an informative day, ( all objectives were certainly achieved).
The Hips Finder road show ran its online leisure time lifestyle matching search, and leisure opportunities demonstration, at the event and was kept busy for the whole day, with enquiries and requests.
WOW what a day! Well done the organisers.
