Air hockey is an indoor table game for two competing players, who using a round paddle, strike a plastic puck, trying to score points in the opposing player's goal. The puck and paddles float on a cushion of air released from the table.

In the UK air hockey is most commonly played as a socialially played competitive game, between friends.
Location
Although popularly played in the home, air hockey tables are most commonly found in amusement arcades, Clubs and public houses.
Age
Air hockey can be played by all ages, both male and female. (Children may be prevented from entering some alcohol licensed premises where air hockey tables are situated).
Ability
A game that can be played by players with no previous experiance and needing no special abilities, however if you progress to playing more experienced players it becomes a game of great speed needing very high speed of reflex reaction.
