It is possible to find many classes teaching Calligraphy throughout the U.K. and the world, to view Calligraphy we need only look throughout history and in our everyday lives to find perfect examples.

Description
When we look through History and different Cultures we see varying examples of Calligraphy, this is writing at it's most sexy, there is something special about a card or invitation that has been scribed by Calligraphy, especially if by genuine hand and not computer generated. Calligraphy dates back 1000's of years and evolves from an Etruscan alphabet into a Latin one, at first it was only capital letters but then later entered into lower case, creating not only text but works of art.

Dedication
Calligraphy, is something that takes it's time to learn, though you can also practice with a free hand entering artwork and symbols into script, if you look through old books including the bible you will also find that at the beginning of some chapters and paragraphs the very first letter is larger and very ornate in design. With computers over taking man it is a shame to let it also take over the art of Calligraphy, practice well and enjoy your designs.

Potential to enjoy a very old discipline and create your own cards, invitations or even create beautiful hand written letters to a loved one or friend. Potential to create a small business offering hand written cards and designs.
