A slippery but fun interest that in 2006 has been running for some 26 years, started as a tongue in cheek competition at Willaston Primary Cheshire by Deputy Headmaster John Bailey.

Description
Most people think 'worms' blahhhhhhhhh but no worm charming is a very a highly popular sport devised by a school Deputy Head John Bailey, the competition soon caught on and there are now world championships taking place. There are strict rules plots are set out at 3m x 3m, you are not allowed to dig the worms, no they must me charmed from the earth using a range of techniques, only teams of up to 3 can be entered, a charmer, collector and counter. Techniques vary from music, vibration and more.
Dedication
Put in the practice and learn techniques to tame those worms and have them dancing out the ground to you favourite music such as sweet vibrations while dancing on your pitch. If you want to be an expert worm charmer you will need 100% dedication.
