Description
Those gun sliggin, beer swillin' cowboys ain't never to far away from you with many people taking up this interest as part of 'Living History'. Shows and events take place all round the UK and all over the world, though some people meet just for fun. The whole ethos behind re-enacting is to be believable and authentic, there was more to being a cowboy that just what we see in the films, re-enactors pride themselves on researching their history and producing authentic costumes.

How dedicated? well people start from hiring costumes to join in with a club to producing and collecting traditional costumes, some people commission companies to produce authentic equipment, many people also research as far back in history as they can so that they know what is real and what was portrayed in the films.
