Taxidermy is usually practiced in a special studio and many examples can be found in zoo's, stately homes and other places.
Ability
Taxidermists should have qualified in at least one of the following; Standard Credit, Accredited Member, Specialist, Higher Category Credit, Master Taxidermist. Some permits are also required.
Description
Taxidermy is the art of preserving dead animals, usually all animals have to have a vertebrae though some insects are preserved. You can preserve you beloved pet, or maybe an animal such as pheasant from out on a shoot. It is possible for Taxidermists to acquire animals such as road kill if not to badly injured to preserve. Taxidermists require permits for certain animals such as rare or extinct and they must always have a record of the animals circumstances.
Dedication
Taxidermy is not a job to be undertaken lightly and as qualifications are required you will need 100% dedication.

Potential to enter shows and competitions, or if someone so chooses make them happy by preserving a life like memory for them of their favoured pet.
