Description
Synchronized swimming is a mixture of swimming, ballet and gymnastics performed in the water, there are ancient records of people dancing in the water, though it started being the competition it is today in the early 20th centuary, when it was known as Ornamental Swimming. Routines are carried out by Individuals, Pairs, Trios and whole teams. Artistry, grace, agility, swimming and an ability to hold your breath as moves are sometimes performed upside down in the water. This really is a skilled craft and if your intention is to learn it for fun or to become a part of a team you will need 100% dedication, the Swimmers make it look so effortless and graceful like modern day mermaids, however these are very skilled individuals who spent alot of their free time training.
