Fundraising is where you help people raise money for certain charities and organisations, this is usually voluntary work.

Popularity
This is a very rewarding activity so many people from all works of life with a bit of spare time on their hands like to participate.

All over the UK and the world, from village halls to shopping centres, there is a variety of locations depending on the event.

Age
The young and old take part in fundraising, so really there is no age limit though very young children will need to be accompanied by and adult.

Ability
Depending on weather you are organising an event or just helping, there are various abilities required simply from collecting to administration. Check with registered charities who will supply yu with a licence to collect on their behalf.

Description
Fund raising is a very rewarding and fulfilling interest, fundraising is used for raising a fund from fixing the local church roof, school swimming pools and equipment to international charities, some charities and organisations run their own events which you can join and help out with, though if you require something in your local community you could find yourself at the forefront of arranging an event such as fete, fun run, auction or even become one of the famous Calender Girls.

Dedication
If you decide to arrange or help with an event you will need 100% dedication.

To raise funds for many of the national and international charities therefore providing aide where it is needed, or raising funds for help in your local community.
