If growing from seed you may need the use of a green house though growing on a small scale you could utilise a shelf in a room in the house.
Dedication
You will need a great deal of dedication as growing flowers need to be fed with a good plant food and kept watered, a regular weeding programme and dead heading finished blooms will need to carried out to keep pots and borders clear and fresh and maintain growth. There is also quite a science to serious flower gardening, such as knowing what types of flower to grow in what particular soil, which flowers prefer shade and which sunlight, which can stand cold winds etc.

The potential is to fill your garden with beautiful blooms and make your home as pretty as a watercolour and become natures natural perfumery, from this you can move onto competitions, shows, selling flowers, or become a landscape gardener.
