Disco dancing erupted all over the world in the 1970's originally it was given to a type of music that was played on a drum beat of 4/4 or 120 BMP (beats per minute) it is considered Manu Dibango's 1972 Soul Makossa' was the first disco record, though most records were released in 1973, disco is brought together from influences of Soul, Funk and Salsa, it is the music itself that got people to 'Dance To The Music' and 'Jive Talking' it even encouraged to 'Climb Every Mountain'. Disco is FUN.
